Highbush Cranberry is a native shrub that is actually a Viburnum, not a true cranberry, but its fruit resembles a cranberry. The bright red fruit ripens in fall and persists into winter, providing a great winter-early spring wildlife food source. It shows off white flowers in spring and beautiful red/orange/maroon fall colors.
