Kindercrisps have an exceptional, sweet flavor and crisp texture, like its parent Honeycrisp. This early ripening apple (late Aug) features much smaller fruit. The yellow/red fruit is the perfect size for snacking or kids' lunches, and is best eaten fresh. Trees are precocious- bearing fruit as young trees and in good quantity.
 
These are hefty, bare root trees. They are generally 5' to 7' tall with a stem diameter of greater than 1/2".
