Saskatoon Serviceberry is a medium-to-large shrub that is native to North America. It has thin, round leaves with little "teeth" (serrated pattern) at the edges. In spring, it produces white, star-like blossoms. Saskatoon Serviceberry's preferred habitats are rocky shorelines, stream banks, and open forests. It produces a small, nearly black fruit that is a favorite of songbirds, Black Bears, rabbits, and deer.
